Funda floor plan to SketchUp

A Funda floor plan is a picture or a digital drawing on the listing. FundaToSketchUp turns it into a SketchUp model with walls, door and window openings, and a floor slab for every storey. Paste the link, check the free preview, and pay only when you want the file.

From the listing to SketchUp

  1. Step 1

    Copy the Funda link

Open the home on funda.nl and copy the URL. Sale and rental listings both work when a floor plan is attached.

  2. Step 2

    Check the free preview

Paste the link on the homepage. You see whether the agent published a digital floor plan, or only images we have to measure. Without a floor plan, checkout stays closed.

  3. Step 3

    Pay for the model

One home is €9. A 5-pack is €39. Pro is €99 per year, with unlimited conversions. The .dae file arrives by email within 5 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Import it in SketchUp

Save the file. In SketchUp choose File → Import and select the .dae file. Each floor and each room is its own group.

When you get a usable model

  • The listing has a digital floor plan. We take the dimensions from that drawing.
  • The listing only has floor plan images. We measure those. Check a few lengths in SketchUp with the tape measure afterwards.
  • The listing has no floor plan. We do not build a model, and checkout stays closed.
