How do I make a SketchUp model of a Funda listing?
Copy the Funda link, paste it on the homepage and check the free preview. After payment we email you a .dae file. Open it in SketchUp with File → Import.
Which Funda URLs are supported?
We support standard Funda sale and rental listings. Paste the address-bar link or an app share link, for example https://www.funda.nl/detail/12345678.
How much does a conversion cost?
A single conversion costs €9. For multiple properties there is a 5-pack for €39 (€7.80 per conversion). For regular use, Pro is €99/year unlimited.
How do I open the file in SketchUp?
Open a new or existing model and choose File → Import. Select the .dae file (COLLADA). The house comes in at full scale, with a group for every floor and room. This works in SketchUp for desktop and for web.
How do I receive the model?
Within 5 minutes of payment you get an email with the .dae file. Don't see it? Check your spam folder.
Are my details stored securely?
Yes, we take privacy and security very seriously. All data is stored encrypted and we do not share personal information with third parties.
What if the conversion fails?
We only build a model when the listing has a digital floor plan or floor plan images. The free preview shows this up front. Paid and did not get a usable model? Email support@fundatosketchup.com and we will fix it or refund you.
Can I convert multiple properties?
With the 5-pack you convert five homes within 6 months. Each home gets its own model and its own email.
Does it work in SketchUp Free or on iPad?
No. SketchUp Free (web) and SketchUp for iPad cannot import .dae files. You need SketchUp Go, Pro or Studio, on the web or desktop.
How accurate are the dimensions?
That depends on the source on Funda. With an original digital floor plan we take over the agent's dimensions. If the listing only has floor plan images, we measure those. That is an AI-assisted conversion, so check the key dimensions with the Tape Measure.
Does the model include furniture and materials?
No. You get walls, door and window openings, floor slabs and a group for every floor and room, at real dimensions. Furniture, window frames, materials and finishes are yours to add. That keeps the model light and easy to work with.
